About Aaron Finch

Aaron Finch is a former Australian opening batter and occasional slow left-arm bowler who captained Australia in One Day International and Twenty20 International cricket, and who played for Victoria and the Melbourne Renegades. He first played for Australia in 2011 and first captained the Twenty20 side in 2014. Finch set a record for the highest individual score in a men's Twenty20 International with 172 against Zimbabwe in July 2018, passing his own 156 against England in 2013, and led Australia to the T20 World Cup title in 2021. He retired from international cricket in 2023 and now commentates.
