Returns and refunds

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

These are not a CricZone policy. They are guarantees the law gives you when you buy goods from any Australian business, and they cannot be signed away.

Goods must:

• be of acceptable quality: safe, lasting, without faults, and doing what goods of that kind ordinarily do
• match their description, and match any sample or demonstration model you were shown
• be fit for any purpose you told the seller about before buying
• come with any promise the seller or the maker made about them being honoured
• be yours to own outright, with no undisclosed money owing on them

If a product has a minor problem, the business can choose to repair it, replace it or refund it. If it has a major problem, the choice is yours: a refund, a replacement, or keeping the item and asking for compensation for the drop in value.

Change of mind

The consumer guarantees do not cover changing your mind, finding something cheaper elsewhere, or deciding you no longer want an item that is exactly what you asked for.

Some businesses offer a change-of-mind policy anyway. CricZone does not have one today, because it is not selling anything. If we adopt one, it will be published on this page, and it will operate in addition to your consumer guarantees rather than in place of them.

What this page deliberately does not say

There is no return address, no time limit for sending something back, no postage rule and no refund timeframe on this page. That is not an omission. Nothing can be bought, so none of those has been decided, and writing a plausible one would be a promise nobody has made.

Before the shop takes a single order, this page will state all of them.
