About Andrew Tye
Andrew Tye is an Australian medium-fast bowler known for the knuckle ball and for a wide range of changes of pace. He played second XI cricket in England before making his List A debut for Western Australia at twenty-six, and has played Big Bash League cricket for the Sydney Thunder, the Perth Scorchers and the Melbourne Renegades. Tye took a five-wicket haul including a hat-trick on his Indian Premier League debut in 2017, and won the Purple Cap as the leading wicket-taker of the 2018 season. He has played One Day and Twenty20 Internationals for Australia.
