Axar Patel is an Indian all-rounder, a left-handed batter and slow left-arm orthodox bowler, who represents Gujarat in domestic cricket. He made his one-day international debut against Bangladesh in June 2014 and was in India's squad for the 2015 World Cup. On Test debut against England in February 2021 he took seven wickets, becoming the ninth Indian bowler to take five in an innings on debut. He was part of the sides that won the T20 World Cups of 2024 and 2026 and the Champions Trophy in 2025.
