About Bernard Scholtz
Bernard Scholtz is a Namibian slow left-arm orthodox bowler and right-handed batter, born in Keetmanshoop. He played at the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and made his first-class debut later that year, and was Namibia's youngest player at the 2009 World Cup Qualifier. Scholtz was named Cricket Namibia's player of the year in November 2016 and was the leading wicket-taker in the 2017-18 Sunfoil 3-Day Cup. He made his One Day International debut against Oman in April 2019, after Namibia gained the status, and his Twenty20 International debut against Ghana the following month.
