About Cameron Bancroft

Cameron Bancroft is an Australian opening batter and occasional wicketkeeper contracted to Western Australia, and has also played county cricket for Gloucestershire and Big Bash League cricket for the Sydney Thunder and the Perth Scorchers. He made his Test debut in November 2017. Following Cricket Australia's investigation into the ball-tampering incident in the third Test against South Africa in March 2018, Bancroft was suspended for nine months. He returned in the 2018-19 Big Bash League and scored 138 not out in his first Sheffield Shield match back.
