About Delissa Kimmince
Delissa Kimmince is a former Australian all-rounder, a right-handed batter and right-arm fast-medium bowler, who played for Queensland Fire in the Women's National Cricket League and the Brisbane Heat in the Women's Big Bash League. Born in Warwick, Queensland, she made her state debut at seventeen and her Australia debut at eighteen, against New Zealand in March 2008, and played at the 2009 World Cup before taking a long break from the game. She returned to state cricket in 2012-13 and to the national side in 2014, and was the inaugural captain of the Brisbane Heat. Kimmince also played Australian rules football, and retired from top-level cricket in April 2021.
