About James Muirhead

James Muirhead is an Australian leg-break bowler who has played for Victoria and the Perth Scorchers. He began with the Adelaide Strikers in the first Big Bash League season, in 2011-12, and took a rookie contract with his home state the following year. Australia's selectors picked him for the Twenty20 International squad against England in January 2014 on the strength of tour matches, with only four senior Twenty20 appearances behind him, and he played at the 2014 World Twenty20. Wrist trouble followed and he had surgery in 2015.
