About Mehedi Hasan
Mehidy Hasan Miraz is a Bangladeshi bowling all-rounder, a right-handed batter and right-arm off-break bowler, who has captained Bangladesh in One Day International cricket. He grew up in Khulna, was taken on at the Kashipur Cricket Academy and learned off spin from the coach who found him. Miraz captained Bangladesh at the 2016 Under-19 World Cup, where the side finished third and he was named player of the tournament, the first Bangladeshi to take that award at an ICC event. He made his first-class debut for Khulna in February 2015.
