About Mitchell Santner

Mitchell Santner is a New Zealand bowling all-rounder who bats left-handed and bowls slow left-arm orthodox spin, and plays domestic cricket for Northern Districts. He was called into the national squad on the 2015 tour of England, in part to cover for the retired Daniel Vettori, and made his one-day international debut at Edgbaston. Santner was in the side that finished runners-up at the 2019 World Cup, and captained New Zealand to the final of the 2025 Champions Trophy.
