Mohammad Nabi is an Afghan all-rounder, an attacking right-handed batter and off-break bowler, and a former captain of Afghanistan. He played in the country's first One Day International in April 2009, its first Twenty20 International against Ireland in February 2010 and its first Test match in June 2018, and led the side at the 2014 Asia Cup and the 2015 World Cup. Nabi was the first player from Afghanistan to be picked in an Indian Premier League auction. He retired from Test cricket in September 2019 to prolong his limited-overs career.
