About Nic Maddinson

Nic Maddinson is an Australian left-handed opening batter and slow left-arm orthodox bowler who has represented Australia in Test matches and Twenty20 Internationals. Born in Nowra, he opened the batting for the Australian side that won the 2010 Under-19 World Cup, and scored 113 on his first-class debut for New South Wales in October 2011, aged eighteen. He has also played in the Indian Premier League and the Caribbean Premier League. In domestic cricket he has played for New South Wales and Victoria, and in the Big Bash League for the Sydney Sixers, the Sydney Thunder, the Melbourne Stars and the Melbourne Renegades, whom he captained.
