Pathum Nissanka is a Sri Lankan opening batter who plays in all three international formats. He was born in Galle and educated at Kalutara Vidyalaya and Isipathana College in Colombo, and made his List A debut for Hambantota District in March 2017 and his Twenty20 debut for Badureliya Sports Club the following year. Nissanka made his international debut in March 2021, and in February 2024 became the first Sri Lanka batter to score a double century in a one-day international.
