About Shai Hope

Shai Hope is a Barbadian wicketkeeper-batter who plays for the West Indies and has captained the side in one-day and Twenty20 international cricket. At the Cricket West Indies awards in 2018 he was named Men's Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year and ODI Cricketer of the Year, and he took the ODI award again the following year. Hope was named in the ICC ODI Team of the Year for 2020 and 2022, and is the first cricketer to score a century against every Full Member nation.
