About Tilak Varma

Tilak Varma is an Indian left-handed batter and part-time off-spin bowler who represents Hyderabad in domestic cricket and Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League. He was born in Hyderabad and was spotted playing tennis-ball cricket at eleven. Varma made his first-class debut for Hyderabad in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy and was in India's squad for the 2020 Under-19 World Cup. He was part of the India side that won gold in the men's Twenty20 cricket at the 2023 Asian Games.
