Trent Copeland is a former Australian fast-medium bowler who played first-class cricket for New South Wales and who now commentates. Originally from Bathurst, he began at St George Cricket Club as a wicketkeeper. Copeland took eight for 92 on his first-class debut in January 2010, at the time the second-best return by a New South Wales player on debut, and was named in the Australian Cricketers' Association four-day team of the year in successive seasons. He won the Bradman Young Cricketer of the Year award in 2010 and made his Test debut against Sri Lanka at Galle in August 2011.
