About Barbados

Barbados are organised by the Barbados Cricket Association and play inter-regional cricket in the Caribbean rather than international fixtures, their best players appearing for the West Indies. The island hosted what was later designated the first first-class match in the West Indies, against Demerara at the Garrison Savannah in Bridgetown in February 1865. The side competes in the Regional Four Day Competition and the Regional Super50 under the name Barbados Pride. Garfield Sobers, Frank Worrell, Clyde Walcott, Everton Weekes, Malcolm Marshall and Joel Garner all played for Barbados.
