About Brazil

Brazil are organised by the Brazilian Cricket Association, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council in 2002 and an associate member in 2017. The side's first recorded international came against Argentina in 1888, and regular fixtures against other South American countries began in the 1920s and resumed in the 1950s after the Second World War. Brazil have played in almost every edition of the South American Championship since it began in 1995, and their first Twenty20 International was played against Chile in October 2019.
