About Cyprus
Cyprus are organised by the Cyprus Cricket Association, which became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council in 1999 and an associate member in 2017. The side did not make its international debut until August 2006, when it finished as runners-up in Division Four of the European Championship, and played in Division Three of that competition the following year. The International Cricket Council granted Twenty20 International status to matches between all of its members from the beginning of 2019, which brought Cyprus into the international record.
