About Dominica
Dominica are not a member of the International Cricket Council. The Dominica Cricket Association belongs to the Windward Islands Cricket Board of Control, itself a member of the West Indies board, so Dominican players appear for the Windward Islands in regional cricket and for the West Indies internationally. A Dominica side first played in West Indian cricket in the 1912-13 Hesketh Bell Shield, and later took part in the Windward Islands Tournament and its successors, with home matches mostly at Windsor Park. The team played at the Stanford 20/20 in 2006 and 2008.
