About Finland

Finland are organised by Cricket Finland. The game was first played in the country in the 1960s and was organised from the 1970s under the Helsinki Cricket Club, with more clubs founded in the 1990s and the national association formed in 1999. Finland became an affiliate member of the International Cricket Council the following year and an associate member in 2017. The side first played in a European regional tournament in 2000 and won Division Four of the European Championship in 2006. Its first Twenty20 Internationals were played against Denmark in July 2019.
