About India Women

India Women are governed by the Board of Control for Cricket in India and hold Full Member status at the International Cricket Council. Their first international was a Test against the West Indies at Bangalore in October 1976, which was drawn. India won the fifty-over World Cup in 2025, beating South Africa in the final, having finished runners-up in 2005 and 2017. The side also took gold in the cricket at the 2022 Asian Games.
