Ireland Women are organised by Cricket Ireland on an all-island basis, representing both Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. The side made its one-day international debut against Australia in 1987 and played at the 1988 World Cup, the first of five appearances. Its only Test came in 2000, a win over Pakistan. Cricket Ireland offered the women's players professional contracts for the first time in December 2018.
