Jamaica Women

Jamaica competed at the first women's World Cup, in 1973, finishing sixth in a group of seven with a win over Young England. Since then the West Indies have entered as a single side and Jamaica have played at domestic level only, in the Women's Super50 Cup and the Twenty20 Blaze run by Cricket West Indies. The team's first recorded match was played in 1967, and in 1977 it became the first recorded winner of a West Indian domestic women's competition. Stafanie Taylor captained the side to the first Twenty20 title in 2012.
