About Prime Minister's XI

The Prime Minister's XI is an invitational side picked by the Prime Minister of Australia with the help of the national selectors. It plays once a year, as a warm-up fixture against a team touring Australia, and that annual fixture is played at Manuka Oval in Canberra. The side dates from 1951 and was formerly known as the Australian Prime Minister's Invitation XI.
