About Sydney Sixers Women
The Sydney Sixers are a women's Twenty20 franchise in the Women's Big Bash League, based in Sydney. The club was one of the league's eight founding teams in 2015 and is one of two Sydney sides in the competition, alongside the Sydney Thunder. The Sixers won the championship in WBBL|02 and WBBL|03, and were minor premiers in WBBL|02, WBBL|03, WBBL|04 and WBBL|08. The side is aligned with the men's Big Bash League club of the same name.
