Thailand are organised by the Cricket Association of Thailand, a member of the International Cricket Council since 1995, and are among the strongest associate sides in women's cricket. The team made its international debut against Bangladesh in July 2007 and won the 2013 Asian Cricket Council women's championship to reach its first global qualifier.
