About Trinidad and Tobago
Trinidad and Tobago play inter-regional cricket in the Caribbean rather than international fixtures, and their best players appear for the West Indies. Teams from Trinidad have played first-class cricket since 1869, when they met Demerara twice, and the island competed in every Inter-Colonial Tournament held between 1891-92 and 1938-39. The side took its present name after the country's independence in 1962. It competes in the Regional Four Day Competition and the Regional Super50 as the Trinidad and Tobago Red Force, and plays at the Queen's Park Oval in Port of Spain. Learie Constantine, Sonny Ramadhin and Brian Lara all played for the side.
