About United States Virgin Islands

The United States Virgin Islands are not a member of the International Cricket Council. The territory belongs to the Leeward Islands Cricket Association, itself a member of the West Indies board, so its players appear for the Leeward Islands in regional cricket and for the West Indies internationally. A side first played in West Indian cricket at the 1991 Leeward Islands Tournament, and took part in the Stanford 20/20 tournaments of 2006 and 2008, whose matches held Twenty20 status. Its last appearance in the Leeward Islands one-day tournament came against Montserrat in 2009.
