The West Indies are a combined side drawn from Caribbean nations and territories, administered by Cricket West Indies and known as the Windies. Players come from fifteen countries and territories that once formed the British West Indies. The side won the first two men's World Cups, in 1975 and 1979, reached a third final in 1983, and won the T20 World Cup in 2012 and 2016 and the Champions Trophy in 2004. It dominated Test and one-day cricket from the mid-1970s to the early 1990s.
