About Zimbabwe Women
Zimbabwe are organised by Zimbabwe Cricket, a Full Member of the International Cricket Council. The side made its international debut in 2006 at the African regional qualifier for the Women's World Cup, which it won, and went on to finish fifth at the 2008 World Cup Qualifier after beating Scotland in a play-off. Zimbabwe placed third at the 2015 World Twenty20 Qualifier. The International Cricket Council awarded permanent Test and One Day International status to the women's teams of all Full Members in April 2021. Zimbabwe took the gold medal at the 2023 African Games.
