Pat Cummins is an Australian right-arm fast bowler who has captained Australia in Test and one-day international cricket. He made his Test debut in 2011 against South Africa, at the time the youngest Australian to play a Test since 1953, and took six wickets in the second innings; injury then kept him out of international cricket until 2015. He was part of the squad that won the 2015 World Cup, captained Australia to the World Test Championship title in 2023 and to the World Cup in the same year, and won the Allan Border Medal in 2019.
