About Scott Boland

Scott Boland is an Australian right-arm fast-medium bowler who plays for Victoria and the Melbourne Stars. Cricket Australia named him Sheffield Shield Player of the Year in March 2019. Boland is one of a small number of Indigenous Australians to have played international cricket and, after Jason Gillespie, the second Aboriginal man to play Test cricket for Australia. In July 2025 he became the first Indigenous Australian to take a Test hat-trick. He was part of the side that won the 2023 World Test Championship final.
