Shubman Gill is an Indian right-handed batter who represents Punjab in domestic cricket and has captained India in Test and one-day international cricket. He made his List A debut in 2017 and his first-class debut for Punjab the following season. As vice-captain of India's under-19 side he was named player of the tournament at the 2018 Under-19 World Cup, which India won, scoring an unbeaten century in the semi-final against Pakistan. Gill was vice-captain of the side that won the Champions Trophy in 2025.
