About Virat Kohli

Virat Kohli is an Indian right-handed batter and occasional right-arm medium-pace bowler, and a former captain of India in all three formats. He plays for Delhi in domestic cricket and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Indian Premier League. Kohli captained India's under-19 side to the World Cup title in 2008 and was part of the senior teams that won the 2011 World Cup, the 2013 Champions Trophy, the 2024 T20 World Cup and the 2025 Champions Trophy. In 2018 he became the only Indian to have topped the ICC batting rankings in all three formats.
