Sri Lanka name ODI, T20I squads for England tour
Colombo, 2 September 2026: Sri Lanka has named its squads for the upcoming limited-overs tour of England, where the teams will play three T20Is and three ODIs from Sept. 15-27.
The tour will begin with the opening T20I in Southampton on Sept. 15, with Sri Lanka set for six matches across the two white-ball formats.
Kusal Mendis will captain Sri Lanka in both the ODI and T20I series, with Charith Asalanka serving as vice captain.
Pathum Nissanka, Kamindu Mendis, Janith Liyanage, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Dunith Wellalage, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera and Eshan Malinga have been selected in both squads.
The ODI squad also includes Kamil Mishara, Pavan Rathnayake, Sachindu Colombage, Asitha Fernando and Dilshan Madushanka, while Lahiru Udara, Tharindu Rathnayake, Nuwan Thushara and Binura Fernando are among the T20I selections.
