Pakistan are a Full Member of the International Cricket Council and are run by the Pakistan Cricket Board. The side was granted Test status in 1952, on a recommendation from India. Pakistan won the men's World Cup in 1992, the Asia Cup in 2000, the T20 World Cup in 2009 and the Champions Trophy in 2017. Security concerns moved most home fixtures abroad, largely to the United Arab Emirates, from 2009 until international cricket resumed in Pakistan from 2016.
